Aging & Geriatrics

We have added an "Aging" category under the Library Resource Page on our Foundation website. This topic provides mental and physical information to assist in dealing with the aging process. There are also resources that can help elderly find financial aid with Medicare and Social Security. LDS articles from the Ensign and BYU have been gathered to help guide elderly and family members through the aging years. Some of these articles include the following: "Grandpa, Are you Awake?," "Of Walkers, Wheelchairs, and Wisdom," and "Taking Care of Mom and Dad." We encourage everyone to explore this topic.

New Library Resources

The Foundation has received permission from LDS Family Services to post a Professional Developmental Program under the LDS Mental Illness topic in our Library. Clinical Application of the Scriptures contains scriptural solutions to human problems and case studies for illustrating use of the scriptures. This is a good resource for counselors or an individual who would like to use scriptures to solve daily problems. You will find the following mental health topics referenced to scriptures: Anxiety, Behavior Change, Commitment, Counsel,  Depression, Faith, Forgiveness, Human Nature and Identity, Impulse Control, Marital Conflict, Obedience, Parent- child  Relationships, Reinforcement, Self Esteem,  Sexuality, Sin, Support, and others!

Foundation Donations

The Foundation is quickly becoming the world's finest mental health resource for Latter-day Saints  and other religious denominations. This has all been made possible  through contributions donated by individuals

and other organizations.  Therefore, we would like to recognize The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation for a substantial donation for website expenses. We welcome David & Jenny Hawks into the Foundation Club for their thoughtful donation. We would also like to thank the Wadman Foundation for another generous contribution.

Our website contains a "Sponsors" page where we recognize those persons who have donated to the Foundation. People can choose not to be recognized, if they so desire. A donor will be assigned to one of five classifications. Below are the different classifications and respective  dollar amounts.

Century Club- $100 to $499
Foundation Club- $500 to $999
Millennial Club- $1000 to $9,999
Friends of the Foundation- $10,000 to $50, 000

Founders Circle- $50,000+

The Foundation is run entirely on donations of time and money by generous individuals. Financial contributions are welcomed by mail or via website!
